It is now possible to assess people using two types of tests: adaptive and standard. New-generation adaptive tests adjust the degree of difficulty of the questions according to the person’s answers and provide a quick snapshot of the current level of proficiency (from beginner to expert). Standard tests use a predefined set of questions according to the level of difficulty chosen beforehand (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
Both types of assessments are performed through multiple choice questions and practical exercises.
